Sky Lounge is a rooftop restaurant and bar in Kolhapur, India. The venue has 1800 square meters of indoor space and a 150 square meter open terrace. The ceiling is formed by 20521 recycled paper tubes hung as repeated modules, which create a parametric pattern. The tubes refer to the local textile industry, where similar tubes are used to roll fabric. The pattern moves with the natural breeze. Basalt stone walls and a grey ceramic floor complement the raw paper tubes. Separate zones include a pizza counter, an enclosed bar and a sun deck.
